職務内容／Job duties	Job Description We are a small, enthusiastic team developing realistic virtual avatars and are looking for an NLP engineer to join our ranks. As an NLP engineer you would bring state-of-the-art AI technology into the realm of games and entertainment. Join our diverse team of researchers, engineers, designers, and artists. Help us create characters that truly feel alive! Responsibilities　Include Turn state-of-the-art NLP papers into usable, production-ready code with the help of our engineers. Proactively propose and pursue new avenues of NLP to improve our core products. Work together with our game designer to identify and solve crucial practical problems of NLP. Hands-on engineering support for our research team. Help maintaining and improving our codebase in critical NLP aspects such as beam search performance. Collaborate within a diverse and highly motivated team to transform a common vision into reality.
応募資格／Qualifications	Basic Qualifications Extensive programming skills, including C++ 1+ years hands-on experience with NLP systems Experience with a least one Machine Learning Framework such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, or others Basic English verbal and written communication skills Interest in interactive experiences such as games Preferred Qualifications Experience working with conversational systems or data, such as dialogue generators, chatbots, etc. Master or Ph.D. in NLP, Machine Learning, or related field Bonus points for experience with low-level programming for inference such as CUDA Experience with game development Basic Japanese language skills
待遇／Salary & Benefits	Type of Employment Contract employee *While a contract allows for the shift to a full-time position, it does not guarantee it. Several factors,　including personal performance and company need, will be taken into consideration when recommending a contract employee for a full-time contract. Salary Salary commensurate with experience and ability with due consideration, the company provides employees preferential pay regardless of age according to our company's regulations. Adjustments to the aforementioned wages will be considered in responding to their ability and performance after joining the company. Working Hours The working time system is flextime. So allocation of work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks is left to the discretion of the employee. Salary calculations are based on deemed fixed working hours of 9.5 hours. There is no designated overtime. Different working arrangements from above cases may apply according to our company's regulations. Holidays/ Paid Holidays Saturdays, Sundays, Japanese National Holidays, Year End Holidays (12/29 - 12/31), New Year's Holidays (1/1 - 1/3), paid vacations, and special leave for weddings, and funerals. Other Travel allowance, social insurance, recreation facilities, language training programmes available, and physical examination are applied.
