職務内容 IDG Client Technologist Job Description

The IDG Client Technologist (IDGCT) is a quota carrying salesperson focused on driving the sale of Lenovo’s Commercial class client and broadening Solution portfolio.
This person will work with Marketing, and existing Data Steward teams to identify accounts that represent the highest value to Lenovo specific to the client portfolio.
Engaging directly with customers at IT Director and above, the Client Technologist must centre discussions around Lenovo commercial Portfolio, and have authority discussing security challenges including but not limited to
• client virtualization,
• end user security/authentication,
• system management tools,
• enterprise mobility and remote device management.
The Client Technologist will target, qualify and drive sales campaigns around a variety of end user compute solutions in a defined territory. The Client Technologist will make customer sales calls to surface, qualify, position and close new opportunities (at existing Lenovo customers and new acquisition customers) and owns the IDG PC sales quota for their territory.


This role is an integral part of the Lenovo sales team. The IDGCT is responsible for ownership of the Largest 20 opportunities throughout the sales cycle and will engage other subject matter experts or services as needed.
• The IDGCT must possess a competitive knowledge of the enterprise and consumer class client computing solutions and must be able to articulate how the Lenovo Solutions differ from the leading competitors.
• Engage on business level discussions around solving end user device and data security management challenges across a customer’s environment. Through this discussion build an overall vision for transforming a customer’s operating environment to meet business requirements.
• The IDGCT will conduct high level white board sessions to evaluate and recommend business requirements for a range of client compute models.
 
応募資格 • Must have 8-10 years outside sales experience AND 3-5 years of experience focused on end user computing solutions, familiarity with security and remote device management technologies.
• Candidate must be able to work effectively, independently and with existing sales teams.
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong written and oral communications skills, exemplary selling skills, and good time management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is preferred
