Storage Solution Specialist

職務内容 Position Description:
・This is a Pre-sales role where you have to provide technical consultancy to clients about Lenovo’s products and solutions for the data center with focus on Storage
・Building meaningful client relationships and establishing themselves as a trusted advisor
・Being able to convey Lenovo’s visionary messages and value propositions to clients in a convincing way, provide technical presentations to clients, alone or with the sales function
・Being aligned to sales representatives and jointly develop proposals for client projects
・Providing technical input to client RFPs and taking the lead to eliminate roadblocks with respect to technical feasibility
・Creating or checking configurations for hardware/solutions in the appropriate tools
・Conducting technical proofs of concept of Lenovo’s solutions including support of the implementation and integration of the infrastructure into the client’s data center if required
・Participates in deep-dive discussions and evaluates customer's current business needs and desired end-state infrastructure solution to translate the technical view.
・Building continuously deep skill in storage products and software defined storage solutions as they develop in the market
・Collaborating with Lenovo's ISV partners to gain access to further technical expertise and/or demo environments, understand the Go to Market routes, receive support where required
・Capturing client feedback on Lenovo's hardware products and solutions and addressing it to the global development teams to constantly improve product quality
・Supporting business partner enablement webinars or larger events as a speaker who is able to enthuse large audiences


 
応募資格 Position Requirements:
・Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
・Minimum of 7 years of customer facing technical sales experience with focus on storage
・Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
・Successful track record of supporting the closure of business with technical consultancy
・Successful track record of creating, presenting and positioning IT primary storage, HyperConvergence, Convergence and/or server virtualization solutions directly to end customers and via reseller channels
・Experience in using consultative sales techniques and able to articulate the technical value proposition to the customer
・Broad understanding of trends & technologies for x86 and storage solutions
・Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing and Product Development
